Salon Policies

Appointment Cancellation Policy:

To protect our stylists’ time, cancellations and reschedules within 24 hours of the appointment or no-shows will be charged 100% for the service booked. If more than one appointment is missed, you will be required to prepay for all future services. 

We require 48 hours advance notice of cancellation for all extension applications. Any less than 48 hours, stylists will require a $100 rebooking fee. 

Satisfaction Guarantee Policy:

We make every attempt to ensure that you are satisfied with your experience at our salon. In the event that you are not completely satisfied, please let us know within 48 hours. We will be happy to schedule a corrective service within one week of your original appointment date. Due to the nature of some services, this guarantee may vary, and in some cases, charges may apply. The guarantee does not cover a change in the original style or color. Full service price applies if you have waited longer than 48 hours to call or if you have your hair worked on elsewhere before returning to Hair Waves Salon for the corrective service. There are no monetary refunds for any services provided.

Deposit Policy:

• When Booking 2 or more appointments; we require a 50 % deposit.

• We require a 50% deposit for extension services and all smoothing treatment services. 

• Your deposit will be required when booking your service online. 

Payment Policy:

We require a credit card on file for all services. You will have the convenience of paying for your service with your credit card on file or another form of payment once your service is complete. The card on file will be charged for any cancellation or rescheduling within 24 hours of the appointment and for no-shows. 

Extension Policy:

Extension sales, including deposits, are non-refundable. 

Extension application must be within 30 days after paying the deposit, or a new quote and deposit must be completed to avoid forfeit of deposit.

When cancelling an application appointment, stylist availability is not guaranteed, and an extension application must be within 30 days of paid deposit, or a new quote and deposit must be completed to prevent forfeit of the deposit.

Product Policy:

All sales are final. No exchanges or refunds.

Children Policy:

Unsupervised children are not acceptable or permitted, including supervision using the restroom. Children must be accompanied at all times.
